IRG Rail Radoslaw Pacewicz - Former Chairpersons -

Radosław Pacewicz is a graduate from Warsaw University, Faculty of Management. In his professional career he concentrated on sectoral market regulation. Prior to joining UTK, he worked in the Office of Electronic Communication (UKE), where he was responsible for the analysis of the costs of mobile operators in terms of regulatory obligation, the preparation and implementation of the LRIC bottom -up model.

In 2011 he moved to the Office of Rail Transport (UTK) to the position of President of the Counsel; a year later he was appointed Director of the Department of Railway Market Regulation, responsible for conducting various regulatory proceedings on non-discriminatory access to the railway infrastructure, approval of access charges, licensing of railway undertakings and market monitoring. He served as Director of the Regulation Department until 2015.

He was acting as Deputy General Director between 2013 and 2015, responsible for ensuring the functioning of the Office of Rail Transport work, especially the supervision of the implementation of the budget. On the 30^th of October 2015 the Head of Civil Service moved Radosław Pacewicz to the position of General Director of the Office of Rail Transport. On the 9^th of March 2016 Radosław Pacewicz has been elected the new IRG-Rail Chairman for the period of Polish chairmanship.

On 4^th of September 2017 he was nominated by Polish Prime Minister as Vice President of UTK.

He is married and he has two daughters. His passion is motorcycling and travelling.
